A Change In Name

Hello DarlingFam,

So as you may have noticed, there has been a slight change to our name. For the past 4 years, Emily and Jack have been making music under the name "Darlington." It has been a lovely name and suited well, and it's something y'all have come to know this project by.

But alas, we were not the first.

There is another that has been using "Darlington" in the singular for the past 20 years. There are towns, parks, raceways, all using the name Darlington. It made it confusing for people to find us. It limited our domain options. In short, there exists too much "Darlington."

And so, with arms wide open to embrace you, we are happy to present ourselves now and forever as

DARLINGTYN

It is still pronounced the same way. DAR-ling-tin. We are still the same people you've been listening to. But now we show up when you Google us.

So that's that. That's the story. Talk to us about it after a show some time. We know change is difficult, especially in these trying times, but we all must grow.
